When the holidays roll around and it’s game time with loved ones or colleagues, we typically fall back on the classics – Secret Santa (the straightforward version where you buy for your assigned person) or that chaotic gift exchange where everyone’s stealing from each other.
Stealing Santa. While the concept sounds fun, bringing a gift, and taking turns choosing or stealing someone else’s, it often feels unbalanced and unfair. Once your gift has been stolen, that’s usually it, with no real way to win it back. And let’s be honest, some people look like they love the power of stealing gifts, while others watch from the sidelines.
When Christmas carols started to embrace our ears, I heard the whispers across people’s lips that stealing Santa was the game of choice. I knew I had to do something.
That’s why I developed my alternative version, Sneaky Santa – a festive season card game. I wanted something that gives everyone a fair chance throughout the game, whether you’re protective of your treasures, dislike watching unfair exchanges, or enjoy adding a little mischief to the festivities.
This card game is all about keeping the holiday spirit alive with a game that’s both entertaining and fair, so nobody feels defeated before the final gift is unwrapped.
